The annual Cole Eye Institute Retina Summit takes place live prior the ARVO Annual Meeting on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The summit will include didactic presentations and discussions focused on recent clinical study results and their application to clinical practice. The program will have interactive case-based sessions, with a dedicated audience question-and-answer session.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Detail diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of geographic atrophy (GA), including use of artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Review current and emerging treatment options for retinal diseases
  • Describe how new and investigational therapies target retinal disease pathologies
  • Evaluate new and emerging gene therapies and genetic tests for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs)
  • Identify roadblocks and solutions to incorporating retina advancements into clinical practic
